After 10 years in Kannywood, we’re ready to get married – Kano twins

Kano popular twins, Hassana and Hussaina Musa, have revealed their intentions to settle down as married women.
Speaking with Kano based Hausa ‘FIM’ magazine, they said: “We have put in more than 10 years into acting, we have become a household name, and we are stakeholders and have made a fortune over the years and as such our next agenda is to get married”.
On how they joined Kannywood, they argued that they are from Kano State and know the industry in and out and as such when they decided to start acting they found it easy because they knew most of the Producers and Directors. So after series of trials they were engaged to start acting.
Hassana who is some minutes older than Hussaina noted that they used to date the same person without the person knowing.
She said: “If you come to me and I am busy, Hussaina will attend to you because our voice is similar. We have the same height, but the only difference is that one of us is a bit fatter than the other and one of us works in Arewa 24.
“If a Producer contracted one of us for a job, without the other we will still do it.
On the type of person they want to marry, Hassana hinted that he must be a Muslim, gentle and loving because once they get married they will quit acting, so the man must have the capacity to take care of them. But as for the timing, she noted that they can marry at different times.
On the perception of people that Kannywood female actresses are cheap, the twins laughed and said they are as clean as cotton. Adding that some people are pressuring some female actresses to compromise their body to secure a role, but they are from Kano and can’t afford to misbehave, because their parents’ lives there.
