BVAS functionality delay voting exercise in Lagos

Voting is yet to commence in some Polling Units (PUs) in Amuwo-odofin Local Government Area (LGA) of Lagos State due to malfunctioning of the Bi-modal Voters Accreditation System (BVAS) and officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) are yet to arrive.
Our reporter on ground in the affected PUs – 021 and 023 at Amuwo-odofin Ward G, Satellite Town at Oriade Local Development Area (LCDA) observed that voting is yet to commence.
It was gathered that the INEC official for PU 023 has gone to the local government office of INEC with the BVAS for technical check.
Other PUs including Navy Town, Buba Marwa Road are experiencing similar issues.
