Atiku beats Tinubu with 198, 567 votes in Yobe
The Presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, won the election results collated by the Independent Electoral Commission (INEC) in Yobe State on Sunday.
Atiku who won the election with 198, 567 votes defeated his closest opponent and the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu who scored 151, 459 votes in the results of the 17 Local Government Areas of the state.

The collation of the result chaired by the Vice Chancellor of Federal University Kashere, who is also the Presidential Election Returning Officer in Yobe, Professor Umaru Pate also showed that the candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) Alhaji Musa Kwankwaso came third with 18, 270 votes.
Other details of the results showed that Labour Party (LP) scored 2,406 votes, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), 875 and Young Progressives Party (YPP) 630 votes.
