INEC declares Gov. Buni winner of Yobe governorship election with 371,113 votes

Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been re-elected at the just concluded Saturday, March 18 governorship election in the state.

Governor Buni polled a total of 371,113 votes to beat his rival, Sheriff Abdullahi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who scored 104,259 while Garba Umar of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) scored 14,246 votes.
A total number of 1,485,146 were registered votes and there were 459,492 accredited voters while 444, 567 were valid votes and 13, 214 invalid votes.
