Gov. Buni prostrates to Almighty Allah to appreciate election victory (Video)

Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, prostrated to Almighty Allah immediately after winning his second term bid announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Prostrations (sujud) are used to praise, glorify and humble oneself in front of Allah (The God Almighty).

This is what exactly Governor Buni did at the government house Damaturu as he heard the news of his re election to govern the affairs of the state in the next four years.

Buni, who was a successful Councillor, Speaker, ACN/APC Party Chairman, Special Adviser, APC National Secretary, Chairman Nigerian Shippers’ Council, Governor, and APC National Chairman and has now been re-elected Yobe Governor never asked but was given power.

Governor Mai Mala Buni has been described by many to be the kind of person that people need to emulate his character, behaviours, manners, and visions in other to have a better society to live in.

After a tightly contested gubernatorial election on Saturday, March 18, INEC declared Governor Buni the winner and was returned reelected as Yobe State Governor having polled a total of 371,113 votes to beat his rival, Sheriff Abdullahi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who scored 104,259 while Garba Umar of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) scored 14,246 votes.
