Over 2,500 intending Adamawa pilgrims will perform 2023 hajj

No fewer than 2,500 intending pilgrims are expected to perform the 2023 hajj pilgrimage from Adamawa State.

Alhaji Hassan Abdulhafiz, Adamawa Amirul Hajj, disclosed this during an interview with newsmen in Yola.

He however said that more than 2,500 had intended to go for the spiritual journey but due to limited seat, some may not make it.

He urged those who were not in the list to exercise patience and take it as an act of God Almighty.

The Amirul Hajj assured a hitch free pilgrimage and tasked the pilgrims to be good ambassadors of the state and country at large.

He said that his team and that of the board are fully prepared to ensure that the exercise become more successful than the previous ones.

According to him, the intending pilgrims have also been fully sensitised on the do’s and don’t for successful and acceptable pilgrimage.

He advised them to be law abiding and apply the knowledge in to practice for more rewards.

Hassan urged the pilgrims to cooperate with the officials while in Nigeria and in the Holy land for the success of the exercise.

He further appreciated Governor Ahmadu Fintiri for his support and cooperation as well as careful selection of experience team towards ensuring success of the exercise.
