Bauchi State empowers 500 youths with computer repair training, starter tools

The Bauchi State government has allocated ₦24 million to train 500 young individuals in computer hardware and software maintenance and repairs. In addition to the training, starter tools have been distributed to the participants.
During the distribution ceremony, Tanko Dutse, the chairman of the Bauchi State Commission for Youth and Women Rehabilitation and Development (BACYWORD), encouraged the beneficiaries to seize this opportunity to empower themselves and improve their standard of living.
The training program, conducted in collaboration with Aliph Technologist Ltd, spanned six weeks and covered various aspects of computer and smartphone maintenance and repair.
Dutse emphasized the importance of using the tools for gainful employment rather than selling them off. The beneficiaries were provided with precision screwdriver sets to kick-start their careers in computer repair.
Notably, the participants were selected from different local government areas within the state. Dutse stressed the significance of this training, urging everyone involved to treat it with the utmost seriousness it deserves.
The chairman expressed his appreciation to Governor Bala Mohammed for his unwavering commitment to empowering the youth and women of Bauchi State.
