Zainab Raga gives birth to second child, affirms unbreakable covenant with husband

Story from Saleh INUWA, Kano

Zainab Umar, formerly known as Raga, a popular Kannywood actress, recently welcomed her second child with her second husband.

The couple made a solemn covenant never to separate, emphasizing their commitment to their marriage.

Zainab made the disclosure in a page titled ‘Kannywood Celebrities,’ to share the joyful news and posted heartwarming pictures of herself cradling her newborn baby, alongside her husband.

It is worth noting that Zainab’s wedding to Alhaji Muhammad Lawan, her second husband, took place in May 2021. The ceremony was kept low-key, with only a few of her colleagues from the industry in attendance.

Prior to her marriage to Lawan, Zainab had been married to a businessman based in Sokoto State. Unfortunately, the union ended after more than ten years, following the birth of their daughter.

Zainab Umar Raga is one of the actresses who contributed significantly to the success of the Kannywood industry.

She has starred in numerous blockbuster movies alongside esteemed actors such as Ali Nuhu, Adam Zango, and Jamila Nagudu, among others.

Some of her notable movies include “Takon Saka,” “Raga,” “Tutarso,” and many more.
