Sallah: Yobe Head of Service seeks rededication to state building

Story from Sa’adatu MAINA, Damaturu

The Head of Civil Service in Yobe State, Alhaji Garba Bilal, has extended warm greetings to the Muslim community on the occasion of Eid-El-Kabir, while urging them to rededicate themselves to state building.

“Let us, in the spirit of this season, irrespective of our faith, rededicate ourselves to the dreams and aspirations of building a strong, united, and economically sound state,” Bilal emphasized.

Expressing gratitude to Almighty Allah for the privilege of witnessing yet another Sallah celebration in good health, Bilal prayed for the acceptance of the sacrifices and supplications of the faithful.

“I call on all Muslims to seek Allah’s grace for peace, unity, security, and economic development for the state and the country as a whole,” he said.

Bilal highlighted that the Sallah season serves as a reminder to place faith in the compassion and wisdom of Allah and to be obedient to His instructions, just as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim.

“To be true Muslims is to adhere to the principles of peace, tolerance, justice, and charity,” Bilal further revealed.

He concluded by praying for wisdom for the state’s leadership under Governor Mai Mala Buni, asking Allah to grant them guidance in steering the affairs of the state and leading it on a path of prosperity.
