Neptune Prime ran a check on the website Wednesday evening on Google Chrome browser the page refused to load displaying “This site can’t be reached”.
Prior to the check this evening, the website homepage displayed, “Hacked by Aliester Crowley. Update your security. Greetings from Maldives,” at about 1:15 pm, according to News Point Nigeria.
Hackers also posted confidential govt correspondences randomly on the site.
When contacted, the Secretary to the Ogun State Government, Tokunbo Talabi, said he was not aware of the situation.
He, however, said prompt action would be taken on the development.
“I am not aware but I will inform the ICT head,” Talabi told our correspondent.
