We are ready to face England – S/Falcons captain, Ebi
Captain of the Nigeria’s Super Falcons, Onome Ebi, says the team is ready to face the Lionesses of England on Monday, August 7 in Round of 16 at the ongoing FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Ebi in an interview with NFF TV, says she feels gingered and strong because the team has been preparing even the commencement of the tournament.

She said, “I feel gingered, I feel strong, and I feel ready. We prepared for this all year, not even now.
“It’s just like the World Cup just started for us. Whatever we won, that one has passed; this is the beginning of the real World Cup, and we are ready to go. The team is gingered; the team is positive.”
Onome who clocked 40 few days to the tournament says she is blessed and fulfilled as the first African to play in six World Cups.
“I feel blessed, I feel fulfilled, and I feel all my hard work is there for the world to see. It means everything to me.”
The Super Falcons will be squaring against a top European team, England after winning their their three groups conceding just one goal.
England trashed China 6-1, 1-0 against Denmark and wrapped up the stage with a slim 1-0 victory over Haiti.
On the other hand, the Super Falcons who not too good on goals have less than half of the goals scored compared to England with eight goals.
The Super Falcons are managed to find the back of the net three times, this might affect their performance when they take on England tomorrow morning as the latter are better off in goals than the Super Falcons.
For the former African Champions to get better hand over England the team must be ready to tighten their defence and explore goal scoring opportunities with set piece.
