Senators, other dignitaries present as billionaire Indimi’s daughter ties knot with Turkish businessman

Meram Indimi, daughter of renowned Nigerian billionaire businessman Alhaji Muhammed Indimi, exchanged vows with Turkish businessman Yakup Gundogdu in a joyous wedding ceremony held in Maiduguri, Borno State, on Saturday.

The couple’s special day was celebrated by friends and family, with photos of the event being shared on Instagram by the bride’s mother and sisters.

Expressing her happiness, a family member, Samira Sheriff, wrote on Instagram: “Done and dusted. My princess @princess.m.i, words cannot describe how happy I am for you both for this new chapter of your life. May Allah shower his blessings upon your marriage, may it be filled with lots of love, happiness, and trust. So glad you found your man of a dream, true love, and I found a new son @yakupgundogduu.”

Meram had previously been married to politician Baffa Dandatti Abdulkadir in 2018, but the two later separated.

In another noteworthy celebration of love, the wedding Fatiha (Islamic wedding ceremony) of Zainab, the daughter of Senator Sani Musa representing Niger East Senatorial District, took place at the National Mosque in Abuja on Friday, August 11, 2023. The union of Zainab and her groom, Yerima Hamman, was commemorated with a series of exquisite ceremonies.

The wedding Fatiha witnessed the presence of distinguished personalities. Vice President Kashim Shettima represented the groom’s family, while the Emir of Minna, Haruna Bahago, represented the bride’s family. The grand hall where one of the ceremonies was held was luxuriously adorned with golden arcs, lights, stools, chairs, and elaborate blue, white, and silver furniture. The floor was covered with a vibrant, matching mat, echoing the colors of the bridesmaids’ outfits.

Throughout the various events, the couple donned a range of stunning attires. The bride captivated in a white gown with delicate golden embroidery and a matching veil. She also radiated elegance in pink and purple ensembles, accentuated by gold jewelry. The groom impressed in his colorful kaftans.

Emotions overflowed during their first dance as a married couple, showcasing their undeniable love and affection for one another.

The wedding ceremonies of two other couples were also held at the National Mosque. Amina, the daughter of Senator Ahmad Yerima, exchanged vows with Muhammed Abubakar, while Abdulmalik Gajam and Hauwau celebrated their union. The prestigious event attracted esteemed guests such as President Bola Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, former Senate President Ahmed Lawan, and billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote.
