Lagos Police launch investigation into death of tailoring apprentice

The Lagos State Police Command has initiated a thorough investigation into the death of Hakeem Mujib, a 22-year-old male tailoring apprentice.
Mujib was reportedly attacked and beaten to death in the Obadina area of Lagos Island by individuals suspected to be tailors.
Upon receiving information about the incident on Sunday night, the police have started tracking down the individuals believed to be responsible for Mujib’s tragic demise.

Multiple narratives surrounding the reason behind his killing have surfaced, with some alleging that it was due to accusations of theft, while others claim he was mistakenly believed to be a spy.
The unfortunate incident occurred when Mujib sought refuge at a two-storey building to rest with a friend, only to be subjected to the fatal assault.
