Medical director strangles wife for refusing to accept his pregnant mistress
The Chief Medical Director of Ekiti State Specialist Hospital, Ikere-Ekiti, Dr. Olubiyi Olaolu Abidemi is facing wife battery charges.
Dr Abidemi, according to report in general circulation beat his wife, Dr. (Mrs) Olubiyi Adenike, a lecturer at Ekiti State University, Ado-Ekiti to a pulp causing her injury in the neck.
The beating, it was said, was the ill consequence of Mrs Olubiyi’s refusal to take care of her husband’s pregnant mistress, a worker at his work place.
According to unconfirmed account, the incident happened on Thursday, 14th September 2023 at their St. David Hospital Compound residence in Ifaki-Ekiti.
The mistress’ pregnancy, sources said caused serious friction between the couple with the husband insisting his lecturer wife must be kind towards his mistress much to her disinclination.

The ensuing fight it was further gathered, became physical, and in the in course he allegedly grabbed her neck, resulting in a neck injury she is currently treating at the accident and emergency unit of Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado-Ekiti.
