Real Madrid will be without Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema for the upcoming Supercopa de Espana in Saudi Arabia.
The Welshman is suffering from an infection in the upper respiratory tract, while the Frenchman suffered an injury in the semimembranosus muscle injury in his left leg.
Benzema had only missed one game this season and it wasn’t through injury. It was against Osasuna at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu in matchday six of LaLiga Santander, where he was rested and was named amongst the substitutes.
Los Blancos will travel to Saudi Arabia on Monday afternoon, yet Bale and Benzema will stay back in the Spanish capital with the injured Eden Hazard and Marco Asensio.
As such, Zinedine Zidane will have three options to fill the two attacking positions: Rodrygo Goes, Vinicius Junior, and Luka Jovic.
