INEC official abducted before Bayelsa election regains freedom
An official from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) who was abducted on the eve of the governorship election has been freed.
The Supervisory Presiding Officer (SPO) regained his freedom, according to Mr. Wilfred Ifogah, the Head of Department for Voter Education and Publicity at INEC Bayelsa.
Ifogah expressed gratitude to those who showed concern and contributed to the release of the INEC official, adding that the officer is in good health.
