I killed my father because he kept appearing like a bird in my dreams – Kaduna man

The residents of Madakiya village in Zangon Kataf Local Government Area of Kaduna State have faced a tragic incident when a 20-year-old man, David Felix, reportedly killed his father over suspicious dreams.

According to reports, the suspect committed the heinous act over a disturbing dream in which the father appeared to him as a bird.

A source revealed that the young man confessed to the horrible crime when he was questioned by his relatives before being handed over to the police.

The source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, stated, “Felix told us that his late father kept appearing in his dreams in the form of a bird with a human face, threatening to harm him.”

After being interrogated at the police headquarters, the suspect admitted his guilt. He expressed deep remorse for his actions, revealing that he attacked his father with a pestle while the latter was asleep, following a distressing dream. Regrettably, the father ultimately succumbed to his injuries.

The police spokesman, ASP Mansir Hassan, disclosed that once the investigation is completed, the suspect will be formally charged in a competent court.
