According to a source close to the victims, on condition of anonymity, the release took place behind a filling station along Bayan Dutse road, on the outskirts of Andaha town, around 9pm. The source confirmed that the ransom of 10 million naira was paid.

The abductors are suspected to be Fulani boys, who reportedly released their victims in a bush area. Upon their release, the victims were taken to Adamu Custom’s personal residence in Andaha and then escorted by a heavy security presence to the Federal Medical Centre Keffi for medical attention.
