Fire razes Bayero Mall in Kano

An unexpected fire broke out at the Ado Bayero Mall in Kano, destroying a section that was previously home to Game Stores on Zoo Road.
Elizabeth Adeyemo, the mall’s lease manager, confirmed the incident to The PUNCH, stating that firefighters are currently on-site working tirelessly to extinguish the flames.
In a bid to facilitate the fire service’s efforts, customers were barred from entering the mall for safety reasons.

The manager clarified that limiting access to the mall was necessary to ensure that the firefighters could effectively combat the fire without any hindrances.
While the cause of the fire remains unknown at this time, investigations are ongoing to determine its origin and extent of the damage caused.
