Ronaldo reveals end of international tournament career with Euro 2024
Portugal’s star player and captain, Cristiano Ronaldo, has confirmed that Euro 2024 will mark the end of his international tournament career.
The announcement comes after a thrilling Round of 16 victory against Slovenia, where Portugal emerged victorious in a penalty shootout.
During the match, the 39-year-old had a critical moment in extra time as he missed a penalty saved by Jan Oblak.
However, he redeemed himself in the shoot-out by converting his spot-kick, contributing to Portugal’s win with goalkeeper Diogo Costa making three crucial saves.
