DHQ declares Simon Ekpa, Gentle, Chika Edoziem, Bello Turji, 93 others wanted for terrorism
The Defence Headquarters has issued a list of 97 individuals declared wanted due to the escalating security challenges gripping the nation.
Among the wanted individuals are terrorists, bandit leaders, and insurgents responsible for turmoil primarily in the North and other regions of Nigeria.
Simon Ekpa, the factional leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), along with his associates, including the notorious killer known as Gentle, have been identified as key figures on the wanted list.
Major General Edward Buba, Director of Defence Media Operations, confirmed the identities of the wanted persons on Friday, highlighting their involvement in various terrorist activities across different zones of the country.

The list encompasses names of terrorists from the North East and North West regions, as well as insurgents operating in the South East and North Central zones.
Notable figures like Bello Turji, Alhaji Shingi, Malindi Yakubu, and others, totaling 37 individuals, have been singled out in the North West. Meanwhile, 21 insurgents and violent criminals from the Southeast and North Central regions are also included.
Among those sought after are Simon Ekpa, Chika Edoziem, and a host of others implicated in acts of terrorism and violence.
