Nigeria Customs College graduates 50 officers from junior course 18 (Pictures)
In a momentous occasion at the Nigeria Customs Command and Staff College in Gwagwalada, 50 officers from Junior Course 18 marked the culmination of their training journey.
The graduation ceremony, held at the Ahmadu Makarfi Hall of the college, witnessed the convergence of esteemed officials, family members, and well-wishers, celebrating the achievements of the graduating officers.
Representing Comptroller-General of Customs Bashir Adeniyi, Deputy Comptroller-General Greg Itotoh lauded the directing staff and instructors for their unwavering commitment to shaping the minds of the officers. He commended the graduating officers for their dedication and urged them to leverage their newfound knowledge and skills to enhance customs operations.
Highlighting the significance of capacity building, Itotoh emphasized the Nigeria Customs Service’s dedication to fostering a strong and effective team. He encouraged the graduating officers to embrace innovation and adopt proactive approaches to customs operations, leveraging technology for improved service delivery.
Commandant of the College, ACG Kingsley Egwuh, echoed Itotoh’s sentiments, applauding the dedication of the directing staff in guiding the officers through their training. He urged the graduates to embrace the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead, making positive contributions to the Nigeria Customs Service.
