Another Chinese national arrested for killing Nigerian lady in Abia
GZ Zhen, a Chinese national, has been taken into custody for his suspected involvement in the tragic death of Miss Ocheze Ogbonna, an employee working as a crane operator.
Allegedly, Ogbonna lost her life due to the actions of the Chinese man who reportedly harbored romantic feelings for her.
Chris Nkwonta, the representative for Ukwa East/Ukwa West Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, expressed profound sorrow over the passing of Ocheze.
He condemned the alleged ruthless behavior of the Chinese expatriate working at Inner Galaxy Steel Company situated in Umuahala-Obuzor, accusing him of pushing her off the crane after she turned down his advances.

In response, Inner Galaxy Steel Company, through its Public Affairs Manager, Mr. Ceng Jing, issued a statement denying the accusations.
Jing claimed that Ogbonna’s tragic fall occurred when she fell asleep while operating the crane.
Subsequently, calls from the community’s youth demanded the arrest of Zhen, the manager at Inner Galaxy Steel, in connection with the incident.
The Abia State Police Command’s Public Relations Officer, Maureen Chinaka, confirmed the arrest of the suspect.
