    In the recently released Forbes list of Africa’s richest billionaires for 2024, Aliko Dangote, the President of Dangote Group, has maintained his position as the wealthiest individual on the continent with a net worth of $13.9 billion.

    The list showcases the financial standing of Africa’s business elite, reflecting a slight rebound in their fortunes over the past 12 months.

    Forbes reported that the combined net worth of the top 20 billionaires on the list reached $82.4 billion, marking a $900 million increase from the previous year’s total of $81.5 billion. Despite a recovery, these fortunes still fell short of their all-time highs.
