Police arrest pastor for abducting, turning 13-year-old girl to his s3x slave
In a shocking incident, the Women Aid Collective (WACOL) has successfully rescued a 13-year-old girl allegedly abducted and abused by one Pastor Prosper Ifediniru in Enugu.
WACOL’s Communication Officer, Blessing Igwe, shared the details, unveiling the traumatic experience endured by the victim.
The statement, issued on September 28, 2023, revealed that WACOL received a distressing case of a 13-year-old girl’s abduction by Pastor Prosper Ifediniru, associated with Living Faith Tabernacle, Winner’s Chapel, in Umulokpa Uzo-Uwani LGA of Enugu State.
Parents of the victim reported the incident to WACOL, narrating the traumatic episode and urgently seeking the rescue of their daughter.
According to the parents, Mr Prosper abducted the girl during his visit to their village as a missionary. The pastor allegedly disappeared with the minor, claiming he was taking her to open a bank account.
Despite extensive efforts to locate them, the parents discovered that Prosper was traveling across states for missionary work, turning the minor into a sex slave.
WACOL promptly petitioned the Enugu State Police Command and collaborated closely with the police to track down the perpetrator and rescue the victim.
The church where Prosper previously served, disowned any connection to the alleged criminal activities, emphasizing that he was no longer in their service and was acting independently.
After numerous searches and intelligence leads, the police located Prosper at a border town in Umuahia, Abia State.

The victim was successfully rescued, and Prosper was apprehended, subsequently brought to the Enugu State Police Command for immediate prosecution.
WACOL’s legal unit continues to collaborate with relevant law enforcement bodies to ensure the speedy prosecution of the case, seeking justice for the grossly violated rights of the victim.
Commending the prompt response and proactive investigation by the Enugu State Police Force, WACOL expressed deep concern over the alarming prevalence of such cases.
The organization emphasized the need for accountability, urging the activation of legal tools to protect girls from all forms of abuse.
WACOL called for collective action to discard harmful practices and traditions, advocating for a society where the rights of women and girls are respected in both law and practice.
