OYO SUBEB: Head-teachers applaud smooth conduct of CBT exam
The Association of Primary School Head Teachers of Nigeria (AOPSHON) has commended the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (OYOSUBEB) for the flawless execution of the recently conducted computer-based tests (CBT) for job seekers.
In a statement released on Saturday, the Chairman of AOPSHON, Mr. Adekunle Adedeji, praised the examination’s organisation, noting the absence of any incidents. “We checked the CBT examinations and the exams went on very smoothly. We are happy with the credibility of the exams and we didn’t have any incidents in the exams,” Adedeji said during his visit monitor the exams at the Distance Learning Centre, Ajibode, Ibadan.
Mr. Adedeji also expressed gratitude to the Oyo State government for the ongoing workshop for retiring headteachers, highlighting its importance in preparing them for life after retirement.

Regarding the exams, the Chairman of OYOSUBEB, Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran, noted that approximately 50,097 candidates participated. He praised the candidates for their comportment, stating, “The CBT exam was very successful and candidates have started seeing their results. There was calmness and the students were well comported during the whole exercise.”
The CBT examination for prospective teachers commenced on July 22 and concluded on July 26, 2024.
