The newly appointed panel includes:
– Prof. Julius Ihonvbere, House Leader and co-chairman
– Hon. Iduma Ighariwey

– Hon. Sada Soli
– Fatima Talba

The new committee is tasked with ensuring a thorough and transparent investigation into the sector, aiming to address issues related to economic sabotage and promote accountability. The establishment of this panel underscores the urgency and importance of the probe, which requires close coordination between the Senate and the House of Representatives.
A statement from the House Spokesperson, Akin Rotimi Jr., highlighted the need for a coordinated approach to address these issues effectively. The committee is expected to commence its duties immediately to enhance oversight and facilitate a comprehensive review of the petroleum and gas industry’s operations.
