On Monday, Neptune Prime observed a video of the 74-year-old monarch pleading passionately, in a feeble, heart-rending voice for his life.
In a feeble voice, disheveled, and in blood-stained apparel, with his hands tied behind him, Alhaji Bawa pleaded with relevant authorities to save his life.
It could be recalled that bandits invaded the monarch’s domain and took him captive one month ago.
Alhaji Bawa has been a traditional ruler for fourty four years, having been the District Head of Gatawa in Sokoto state, historically significant District of Sabon Birni, before he was recently transfered, demoted rather, to the lesser stool of Gatawa by the state governor, Ahmed Aliyu.
