2 feared dead in Abuja as police clash with shiite protesters
Two individuals have tragically lost their lives following a violent confrontation between the Nigeria Police Force and Shiite protesters at Wuse Market in the Wuse Zone 6 area of Abuja. The clash erupted when police deployed tear gas to disperse the demonstrators, who subsequently attacked the nearby Wuse Market Police station.
Graphic videos circulating online show the intensity of the altercation, highlighting the severe impact of the police response. As of now, the police have not issued an official statement regarding the incident.
