Yobe state Executive Council has approved N3, 218 ,822,134.86 for the execution of numerous projects in the state.
Commissioner for education, Alhaji Mohammed Lamin revealed this to newsmen shortly after the executive council meeting in Damaturu, the state capital.Alhaji Mohammed Lamin said the council also approved the construction of 16
Lamin said the council also approved the construction of 16 kilometres double coat surface dressed road from Garin Alkali to Gwio kura in Bursari and Bade local Government Areas respectively. The project is estimated to cost N1, 585,134, 581.16.
Other projects approved iinclude; construction of 15 kilometres double coat surface dressed Zobo-Siminti road in Fika local Government Area at a cost of N1,471,609,092.19.
According to him,”purchase of Asphalt paver Finisher at a cost of #125,000,000.00”
Contract for the construction of perimeter fencing and Gate House at Government college Nguru a distance of 4000 meters at a total cost of #134,478,461.61.
