School principal murdered at Abuja home
The principal of Abuja Rehabilitation Centre, Bala Tsoho Musa, has been tragically murdered by an unidentified assailant. Musa, fondly known as “Comrade,” was found dead late Friday night within the premises of the centre located in Kuchiko, a community in the Bwari Area Council of Abuja.
The Abuja Rehabilitation Centre, established by the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA), is a facility designed for skill acquisition training, particularly for beggars and those arrested for public nuisance within the capital city.

According to reports, Musa’s lifeless body was discovered next to his wheelchair. A source close to the incident revealed that a piece of wood, believed to have been used to strike him on the head, was found at the scene. Additionally, two of his mobile phones were reported missing, which has raised suspicions about the motive behind the murder.
The source further disclosed that the incident went unnoticed initially, likely due to the noise from the centre’s power generator. It was only when a deaf female, who assists the family as a maid, raised an alarm upon returning to the hostel that the body was discovered.
The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in charge of Bwari, CSP Babayola Muhammad, has confirmed the incident. Investigations are ongoing as the authorities seek to uncover the circumstances surrounding the tragic death of the principal.
