The Ogun State Police Command has discovered a dead tenant’s body in an apartment within the state.
This comes after an alarm was raised concerning the whereabouts of the deceased, who was later found lifeless, with suspicion of suicide.
Men of the state police command have earlier swung into action, following a complaint of a missing person in the state.
It was gathered that one Tolulope Olusanya, a 45-year-old woman was found dead in her apartment after being declared missing.

This happened at Shittu Street, Madojutimi Abiola Way, Abeokuta, Ogun state.
Reports from PUNCH Metro revealed that the landlord of the house, Adebesin Adebayo, raised the alarm and reported to the police after he hadn’t seen the deceased in the area.
Confirming the incident, the command spokesperson, SP Omolola Odutola, said police operatives in the Kemta Divisional Police under the Ogun State Police Command swung into action on Tuesday, as they broke down the door to gain entrance.
On breaking the door, stench filled the air, and the police found the lifeless body of the woman which had swollen up. This made the command suspect a suicide case.
“Worried about her well-being, he went to her apartment and noticed a strong, unpleasant odour coming from inside. The door to her apartment was locked inside, prompting him to raise the alarm,” the police said.
“The officers broke into the apartment and found Olusanya’s body lying on the bed, swollen, suggesting that she had been deceased for some time.”
She further stated that efforts to transport the lifeless body to the morgue proved abortive, as there was no adequate medical equipment to prevent possible infection.
Odutola added that the scene was secured and cordoned off as police detectives continued their investigation.
