Tinubu wins Yobe APC presidential primary, garners over 250,000 votes

In a stunning show of political confidence, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has swept the entire APC presidential primary election in Yobe State, winning all 178 wards across the state’s 17 local government areas.
The state’s primary election coordinator and collation officer, Governor Mai Mala Buni, officially announced that Tinubu garnered 253,804 votes.
That accounts for 91.5 per cent of all registered APC members in Yobe, representing an emphatic endorsement of the president’s popularity among party loyalists in the state.
Speaking shortly after declaring the results, Governor Buni, who oversaw the exercise, described the outcome as proof of Tinubu’s visionary leadership and deep grassroots appeal.
He cautioned party members against complacency, urging them to maintain their mobilisation drive and sharpen their strategies for a clean sweep by the APC in the upcoming general elections.
“The people of Yobe have sent a clear message today. Their loyalty to President Tinubu and the APC is unwavering.
“Now we must channel this primary momentum into a decisive victory in every election ahead,” Buni stated.
