The state ministry of health confirmed the development last night on its verified Twitter handle.
Following this development, Kano State now has a total number of 21 confirmed cases of COVID-19, no recovery but one death.
Meanwhile, 34 new cases of COVID-19 were confirmed by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control on Wednesday, taking Nigeria’s total infections to 407.
According to NCDC, a total of 128 persons have been discharged, while 12 deaths have been recorded so far.
