Ibrahim Kabir, kidney disease patient, pleads for N16 million lifeline

Mohammed Ibrahim Kabir, a 40-year-old man diagnosed with end-stage kidney renal disease and currently on Haemodialysis pleads with the general public and well-meaning Nigerians to assist in raising 16 million naira needed for an urgent kidney transplant.

The plea made via his younger brother, Ibrahim Abba, in a letter to Neptune Prime said the transplant is proposed to be carried out at a private hospital in India after the lift of the ban on international travels.

He wrote, “on behalf of the family, we solicit for your financial support to contribute to his recovery”.

He also noted that his current weekly care cost him about ninety thousand naira.
