Nigeria’s Super Eagles Franco-German gaffer, Gernot Rohr has started to earn dividends for his excellent job so far with the Super Eagles.
Rohr, appointed in August 2016 and charged with the responsibility of leading the Super Eagles to the World Cup was considered worthy of a contract extension after achieving the set target. The 64-year old manager who showed a deep tactical savvy so far signed the extension during the deal signing ceremony between the NFF and beverage giants, CocaCola.
He signed a two-year extension like he did initially and has the big task of giving Nigerians a befitting appearance at the Mundial and set his feet on the sands of time as one of the best managers ever had by the Super Eagles.
The former Niger Republic manager has surpassed expectations and has raised the hopes of Nigerian football fans after raising a crop of young players that have thus far represented the Super Eagles with honour and dedication.
He will lead Nigeria to the 2018 World Cup in Russia.
