Bauchi State Police Command continue in their search for the suspects who cut six-year-old girl private parts for ritual purposes, in Jama’are LG.
Abdulkadir Wada, a 20-year-old, was the second suspect arrested by the Police for the crime which he attested to committing.
Wada who recounted the ordeal said he did it because of a Malam who convinced him of quick wealth upon bringing a female’s private part.
We spoke to the Malam again, me and one of my friends Walidi.
So one morning we headed out in search of females private parts, we have been searching for more than a week for females private parts to no avail and had to go back to the Malam.
The Malam said he called jinn for them and the jinn said truly they have been searching for females private parts and gave them three days to get it.

After what they were told by the jinn they went out in search for private parts again for two days but it was in vain.
So on the third day they went out in search for it in Kwata (Abattoir) in Jama’are so we saw two girls, coming towards our direction and bought Garrin Kwaki and then my friend called one of them and she said she’s not coming, so we called the smaller one.
So we sent the small girl to go inside that house to call Maryam and after she entered the house Wada asked Adamu if there was anyone bearing Maryam in that house and he said no.
So before she came back Adamu told Wada what to do, saying that he should strangle her so that that they will take her to an uncompleted building.
So when she came back I strangled her and she was fighting for her survival until she stopped moving while Adamu was outside on the lookout.
Adamu then came inside and checked if she was alive or not and brought out his knife and started cutting her private part.
While in the action one Almajiri entered and saw them and then I told him that someone has seen us and then he said we should run away.
Before we entered the place one girl saw them but didn’t say anything because she knows them. They didn’t tell them they were going to give them money but just told them that they are going to be rich without telling them the source of the wealth.
DSP Ahmed Wakili spoke on how they successfully captured Abdulkadir Wada Haladu the guy who removed the girl’s private part. The police said they captured him at Mararaba in Nasarawa State and took him to Bauchi State for investigation.
Upon the investigation, he narrated how he got involved in the crime.
The first guy we arrested, Abdulrauf said it was Abdulkadir that used a handkerchief to cover the girl’s face and then took her to the uncompleted building to cut her private part.
So we did a cross-examination between them to determined that what Abdulrauf is not the truth.
So from what Abdulkadir said we were able to understand that they forced and strangled her neck and she fainted and then they cut it and took it to the Malam who promised them of riches.
So we are continuing our investigation and we will make sure that whoever has a hand in it will be punished and taken to the court.
