A father of four children has been arrested by the Rivers State Police Command for allegedly drugging, raping, and robbing over 20 young ladies after luring them with juicy promises on social media.
The state’s police command spokesperson, SP Nnamdi Omoni disclosed this while parading the suspect identified as Favour Ibama at the command’s headquarters in Port Harcourt on Thursday.
Mr Omoni claimed that Ibama lured his victims with mouth-watering promises after meeting them on social media, adding that he drugged and stole from the women after raping them.
SP Omoni disclosed that the suspect was nabbed when he was spotted at a popular supermarket at Ada George, Port Harcourt, by one of his recent victims who raised an alarm that attracted passersby who apprehended him and handed him over to the police.
Some of the victims who spoke with PM News explained that after days of chatting with him on social media, he books a date with them in a hotel where he drugs their food, and after they eat the food they will fall asleep only to wake up to discover that he slept with them and made away with all their belongings.
