Nigeria forward, Christian Pyagbara, has linked up with Tunisian club, Avenir Sportif de Gabes on a two-year contract, reports Complete sports Nigeria.
Pyagbara, 22, last featured for Akwa United in the Nigeria Professional Football League.
His departure will leave a big vacuum at Akwa United who are fighting hard to win the NPFL title for the first time after winning the Aiteo Federation Cup last season.
The striker was part of the home-based Super Eagles side that finished third at the African Nations Championship in South Africa in 2014.
He has also represented Nigeria at the U-20 level.
Avenir Sportif de Gabe’s will be Pygbara’s first club outside Nigeria.
The modest side finished in 10th position in the Tunisian Premier League last season.
