Boko Haram insurgents yet again attacked Kanamma, headquarters of Yunusari Local Government of Yobe State, early today.

It will be the second time they will be attacking the town in less than five days.
Sketchy reports reaching _Neptune Prime_ has it that the insurgents have burnt the house of the village head, local government chairman and some public properties.
Several phone calls to Honourable Yerima Lawan, a former chairman of Yunusari Local Government and a current commissioner in the state however went unanswered.
In the past ten days, the insurgents have attacked Geidam in Yobe State and held it for over 72 hours, leaving after wrecking havoc on the town.
In the same period they have attacked Mainok in Borno State, killing a number of soldiers, including their commanding officer and either destroying or carting away military hardware.
