Former New Media Director of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Deji Adeyanju, has commended the National chairman of the party, Uche Secondus, for allegedly reconciling ex-Kano Governor Ibrahim Shekarau and Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso.
It was earlier reported that Shekarau has finally announced that he is leaving the PDP for the All Progressives Congress (APC) over a dispute with Senator Kwankwaso.
This was disclosed by the media aide to the former Kano governor, Sule Ya’u Sule, on Tuesday.
However, reports have emerged that the national chairman has stepped in to intervene.
In a post on his Twitter page, Adeyanju wrote: “First, let me apologize to PDP’s Chairman, Uche Secondus for my very harsh words yesterday over the Kano crisis then 2nd, let me commend him for showing leadership to resolve the crisis and reconciling Kwankwaso and Shekarau. This is what we all expect from the opposition.”
