Dr A’eesha Humayrah Abaji, the Ahmadu Bello University Medical College graduate (she gained admission in 2010, not 2011) who carted home Nine out of Ten awards, as well as best graduating Medical Student Award, has received the sum of N100 000 from Professor Kabiru Bala, the University’s Deputy Vice Chancellor, Admin, as a personal gift. The College’s Provost, Professor A.J. Randawa also gave her a personal gift of N50,000.
Contrary to Neptune Prime’s earlier report, she was not the recipient of best in Biochemistry and Paediatrics as well as Anatomy and Surgery which were received by Nasir Ibrahim and Mohammed Mohammed Muritala respectively, while Zainab Abdulwahab took home best in pathology and chemical pathology.

However, upon the awards we mentioned earlier, she also received Best Female in Pharmacology, Nigeria Medical Association Kaduna Prize for overall best student.
