ABU Best Performing Staff Award: Dr Hauwa Mohammed Sani among staff to receive honour Thursday

The Senate of Ahmadu Bello University has identified a total of 123 staff members from different faculties, centres, and units to be honoured for their outstanding performances.
Among those to receive the honour is a renowned academic and researcher, Dr. Hauwa Mohammed Sani.
As a Senior Lecturer and Deputy Director, Institute for Development Research and Training (IDR&T) at ABU, Dr. Sani has made significant contributions to the institution, managing and supervising research protocols, facilitating collaborations, and publishing scholarly works over the years.
Her research expertise spans stylistic analysis, linguistics, and semantics, with publications on humorous post-proverbials in Hausa speech communities and linguistic stylistic analysis of gender variations in television news reporting.
The award recognition is a testament to Dr. Sani’s dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence in academia and research.

The university’s special bulletin has published the list of the awardees, which includes staff members from diverse departments and units.
