AFCON Qualifier: CAF announces dates for Super Eagles final matches

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) announced that the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has scheduled Nigeria’s final qualifying matches for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations against the Republic of Benin and Rwanda for November 14 and 18.

In a statement on Tuesday, the NFF announced that Nigeria’s Matchday 5 clash against the Benin Republic at the Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny on November 14 will kick off at 8 p.m. Nigeria time.

CAF has appointed Issa Sy from Senegal as the referee, with his compatriots Djibril Camara and Nouha Bangoura serving as assistant referees, and El Hadji Amadou Sy as the fourth official.

Rene Williams Sere from Côte d’Ivoire will act as the commissioner, while Angolan Inacio Manuel Candido will serve as the referee assessor.

The Matchday 6 encounter with Rwanda is set to take place at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on November 18.

CAF has appointed Moroccan match officials for this match, with Samir Guezzaz serving as the referee. The game will kick off at 5 p.m.

Zakaria Brinsi, Abdessamad Abertoune, and Kech Chaf Mustapha will serve as assistant referee 1, assistant referee 2, and fourth official, respectively.

Prosper Harrison Addo from Ghana will act as the commissioner, while Somalian Ali Mohamed Ahmed will serve as the referee assessor.
