Bolaji Abdullahi has finally dumped the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in line with his political benefactor, Bukola Saraki, Nigeria’s senate president, who left the ruling party yesterday.
Abdullahi’s new position, was a capitulation to his earlier position in which he stated that he has not dumped the ruling party, after reports indicated that he has shifted tent with Saraki.
But in a statement on Wednesday, Abdullahi said he decided to resign from the position because his “loyalty is constantly brought into question”.
