Ahead of the November 2021 governorship election in Anambra state, a group of concerned indigenes of the state resident in Owerri, capital of Imo State, under the aegis of ‘ Anambra People’s Forum For Good Governance, APFGG, has reiterated its commitment to ensuring that people-oriented governance returns in the state.

By declaring their support in the election for Chief Obiora Okonkwo (Dikeora), as governor in the coming election.

Speaking in an interview with STAR POST Express Newspaper in Owerri on Wednesday, co-ordinator of the socio-political interest group, chief Timothy Muo, a native of Enugwukwu in Njikoka LGA of the state, said members of APFGG are particularly pleased with chief Okonkwo’s genuine desire to liberate the state from the clogs of APGA’s rule, and overlordship, overtime.

According to him, the people of Anambra state demand positive change in governance, as they go to the polls in November to elect a new governor.

Muo, also posited that the Zenith Labour Party, ZLP candidate, Dikeora, is most – qualified among other candidates jostling to occupy the office of the Governor of Anambra State at the expiration of Gov.Willie Obiano’s administration.

He further appealed to eligible voters among the Anambra electorate to lend massive support for the ZLP candidate in the Governorship Election, as part of the group’s efforts to ensure that credible individuals are elected, devoid of political party sentiments and in the overall good interest of Anambra citizens.

Muo, a retired civil servant in Imo state, however, used the occasion in admonishing members of the group, and other well-meaning indigenes of the state, to secure their Permanent Voters Card, PVC, with a view to exercising their franchise, as well as, cast their votes en masse for chief Okonkwo during the election.
