APC Presidential Primaries: 2,340 delegates to vote

A total of 2,340 delegates are expected to vote in the presidential primaries of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) today.

The special convention of the party which is billed for today 6th June at the Eagle Square in Abuja will pitch candidates from the Northern and Southern regions of Nigeria against themselves, in a make or mar process of the party.

Already, some of the aspirants have withdrawn or stepped out of the race citing different reasons.

As at the time of filing this report, the party hierarchy was still in talks with the aspirants on the best way to pick it’s presidential candidate for next year’s general elections.
