Aspirant cries out as party officials run off with results in Yobe
Muhammad Adamu (a.k.a CHIMO), an aspirant for the House of Representatives of Nagere/Potiskum Federal Constituency in Yobe State on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), on Friday alleged that the returning officer and other party officials ran off to Damaturu with results after he got 55 votes out of 105 during the primary election conducted in the state.
Adamu said he has lodged a complaint with APC party officials alleging that the results will be rigged against his favour.
The ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) commenced primaries for gubernatorial candidates on Friday, while the process that will culminate in the emergence of its presidential candidate is on June 1.
Delegates will pick the candidates in the 28 states where governorship elections will hold.
