Retired army colonel found lifeless at military base in Jos Colonel BT Vandi, a retiree of the Nigerian Army, who checked into the camp guest house at the Defence Academy located on Vom road in Jos on the 16th of July, was found dead. He was reportedly found dead in his room by an attendant at about 3:20pm few hours after he checked in. Late Col Vandi was said to have checked in to the camp guest room on the 16th of July, and was discovered dead on the 17th of July. Daily Trust further learnt that the body of the deceased would be moved to 3 Division Military Hospital in Jos for autopsy and investigation. The acting Deputy Director of Army Public Relations, 3rd Division, Major Aliyu Danja when contacted, stated that, enquiries will be made over the report for official confirmation.
