Amidst the ongoing fight against insurgency and banditry in the country, armed bandits yesterday attacked passenger aboard Sokoto mass transit, kidnapping all passengers.
A reliable source who confirmed to Neptune Prime said the passengers who were travelling from Sokoto to Katsina were kidnapped around 10:00 am at Kwashabawa village in Zurmi LGA of Zamfara state.

As at the time of filing this report, efforts to reach the Zamfara state police command for its reaction proved abortive.
Recall also that 16 indigenes of Dambatta Local Government Area of Kano State yesterday were killed by gunmen along Abuja-Kaduna Highway after the military had claimed a wipeout of bandit camps along the now dreaded road.
